Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments to determine the most appropriate level of care
- Provide effective interventions to address mental health and substance use disorders
- Maintain expertise in civil involuntary detention procedures
- Develop and implement discharge plans to ensure safe transitions
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized safety plans
- Link individuals with local resources and ongoing treatment options
- Participate in mobile response teams for crisis interventions
- Follow up with clients to ensure successful transitions and continued support
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
- Eligibility for licensure in Missouri or meeting the Department of Mental Health's Criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice models
Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
