Job Purpose
The Residential Care Aid (RCA) is responsible for the facilitation and delivery of care and treatment services to clients living in a residential setting. The RCA ensures a therapeutic, clean, and safe environment which is productive, meaningful, and provided in a manner that is appropriate for the client within the care / treatment setting.
Qualifications
Residential Care Facility settings :
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Level I Medication Aid (LIMA) or Certified Nurses Aid (CNA) and in good standing in the state of Missouri preferred.
- Must have successfully completed or be willing to complete the Insulin Administration Training Program within 3 months of hire.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) preferred.
- MO Class “E” Chauffeur’s license preferred.
