Job Purpose
The Residential Team Lead is responsible for ensuring quality of care for persons served through various daily activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Core Job Duties
- Transport clients to appointments (medical/dental/visual), family visits, court, etc.
- Facilitate virtual Clubhouse when clients stay home.
- Research ideas for groups, develop presentations, and facilitate groups.
- Enter PSR notes in a timely manner after groups.
- Coordinate monthly personal shopping for clients, as well as other shopping needs that arise.
- Provide haircuts, hair color, beard trimming, etc. for clients at their request.
- Provide direct client care when there is a shortage of Residential Care Aids.
- Pass medication as needed.
- Complete food orders for facility as needed.
- Assist Nurse with coordination of medical appointments.
- Assist in office as needed.
- Participate in scheduled activities outside regular work hours to allow clients to attend (concerts/trips/etc.).
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
