Drafting Technician

FCC COMMERCIAL FURNITURE, a leader in the design & manufacturing of restaurant and retail interiors is seeking an entry-level AutoCAD Drafter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings and plans for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date drawings and plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D and 3D drafting techniques.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Has the ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
• Is eager to learn and grow within the field.
• Has a positive attitude
