The Applications Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and maintaining application processes to ensure efficient operations. This role requires a strong focus on improving system functionality, supporting operational and sales teams, and ensuring accurate data management across various platforms. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and industry experience to contribute to process improvements and operational success

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current application processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
• Implement streamlined procedures to enhance overall application functionality and user experience.
• Oversee and maintain application management systems, ensuring their proper functionality and currency.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with IT teams to deploy system updates and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and data sources.
• Provide operational insights and guidance to the sales and operations teams.
• Assist or lead data imports and integrations from various applications.
• Work with Director of IT for project planning and migrations.
• Collaborate with routing analysts to create and optimize new routes within systems.
• Support truck maintenance modules and GPS systems to enhance fleet operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Navusoft, Trux, or AMCS platforms.
• Proven expertise in process optimization and application management.
• Familiarity with application management software, databases, and system troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferable proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Attention to detail with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Administration).
• Relevant Industry certifications
• Years of experience is equitable to certifications or degree

• Experience in route planning and analysis.
• Operational knowledge within the waste management industry.
• Ability to train teams on software and operational tools effectively.
