Position Summary

The Plant Maintenance helper will be responsible for assisting and maintaining daily operations of the MRF, C&D, Compost, and facility department. This may include but not limited to assisting technicians, basic repairs, monitoring equipment, inspection of equipment safety features, documenting maintenance activities.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Assisting technicians with repairs
• Greasing and oiling machines
• Clearing material build up
• Cleaning equipment
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and reach fork
• Lifts and carries parts required for facility repairs
• Monitoring equipment and record keeping
  
  

Experience And Competencies

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 1 year of work experience (preferred)
• Must work in a team-oriented fashion
• Must adhere to and follow all company safety policies and procedures
  
  

Pay Rate

• $19-$20 per hour
