Position Summary
The Routing Analyst is a key position to ensure the proper operational plan is implemented. This role will handle at a corporate level, routing of commercial and residential lines of business in conjunction with the Vice President of New Projects and Director of Operations Support to identify routing efficiencies and assist in implementing them.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for route optimization, and providing support for new projects and daily operations
- Using ZignEx and GIS, will provide collection sites with residential and commercial route optimization
- Provides maps, reports, and support to operational staff
- Responsible for working with Director of Operational Support to implement routing processes and ensure that modifications and processes are implemented.
- Develops post-implementation standards evaluating route efficiencies and fleet maintenance impacts
- Provides support to the Operations team and Sales team in continues routing on new and updated customers.
- Perform weekly routing calls on sites efficiency from re-routes.
- Assist sites in implementing Roll Off routing tool.
- Performs field studies to analyze route metrics.
- Assists in design phase of projects, to ensure route balance and proper planning of collection routes
- Provides graphics, maps, and metrics to be included in RFP responses
- Responsible for providing support to hauling sites, ensuring maps, route specifications and route sheets are provided to all drivers.
- Work as liaison between sites and government entities ensuring contractual mapping and routing metrics are met
- Provides support to the Operational teams with reports and metrics required to be submitted to clients
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Willing to travel 20-40%
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- In lieu of degree, High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience
