FCC Indiana located in Portland, IN currently has openings on 2nd shift for the following roles:
- Press Operators
- Sanding Line Operators
- Inspecting and Packing
Responsibilities:
- Follow written and verbal instructions, including work standards and check sheets, in order to produce various product components
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of product for quality conformance using measuring and testing machines/equipment or by visual examination
- Adjust, repair or replace defective parts using basic hand tools
- Record production data in computer system or on paper.
- Maintain production progress with the production schedule.
- Adhere to machine/equipment preventative maintenance plans
- Comply with departmental continuous improvement activities (product quality, production efficiencies, scrap, downtime)
- Promote and ensure conformance to the company’s TS 16949 procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual)
- Promote and ensure conformance to the company’s ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste)
- Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment free, working environment. Comply with department 5C activities
- Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Monday-Friday
- Overtime as required
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Understand basic math
