We are looking for a Duck Creek Technical Analyst (Senior BA) or Specialist (depending upon experience level) with Insurance domain experience to join our team. This key role will be to evaluate FCCI’s business needs and determine how to best align & architect technical solutions that address the big picture business challenges and future needs. This is a visible, lead role with a hybrid schedule option working (3) days in the office and optional (2) days working remote.
The Duck Creek Technical Analyst (or Specialist) will work on several strategic, commercial insurance software projects (admitted and non-admitted lines), as well as various financial services, system integrations, and data reporting/migration initiatives. Working within an Agile framework, the selected teammate will serve as a proxy Product Owner whose primary function is to identify and analyze key project needs, gather requirements, define scope and objectives (end-to-end), and provide critical production support for enterprise-wide systems.

The salary range for this position is $83,896-$129,201 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience
Required- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Six or more years of business analysis or business architecture work with the following:
- Complex workflows and system integrations (Preferably within Insurance Policy, Billing, Claims, Reinsurance, third-party systems)
- Implementing complex software applications
- Leading insurance-related, strategic initiatives in agile environments
- Strong requirements management and analysis background
- Creating and maintaining system requirements and technical documentation
- Supporting custom, third-party business applications, or COTS systems
- Domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance; Excess & Surplus lines a plus
- P&C Insurance software applications, COTS in implementing Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Insurity policy admin, claims, or billing modules
- Duck Creek BA Experience with Policy, Producer, Re-insurance , Extract Mapper and Clarity
- Experience with Duck Creek Requirement Templates for UI, Rules, Forms, Rating , Acord Upload and Integrations
- P&C Insurance familiarity with policies, process, underwriting, regulatory, and end-to-end system implementation
- Ability to solicit input, analyze data, draw conclusions and provide recommendations
- Ability to convey information in accurate, consumable models and terms that build a shared understanding of work to stakeholders
- Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected information, identify patterns, and articulate organizational relevance
- Ability to hold both a big-picture and a detailed view of a business problem when considering solutions
- Ability to review and participate in QA and Regression phase to identify gaps and add value
- Experience with business process modeling and tools (e.g., Visio, Blueworks, Lucidcharts etc.); business process automation and data management
- Demonstrated ability to interact and influence across all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Advanced ability to analyze, define and solve problems
- Self Motivated; use of good judgment and decision-making
- Solid leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of P&C Excess & Surplus markets, or surety/bond processing
- Experience in financial services, data migration, data reporting
- Familiarity with SQL querying, relational databases, Jira (JQL)
- Familiarity with Business Architecture Guild’s BIZBOK or TOGAF
- Certified Business Architecture (CBA)
- Product Owner/Product Manager certification
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
