FCCI has an immediate opening for an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our growing in-house legal department. The selected individual will litigate on behalf of the employer/carrier in Florida workers’ compensation matters and will provide legal advice and counsel on corporate legal, litigation, and claims matters for the company. The selected individual will be responsible for preparing and managing pleadings, motions, discovery, mediations and depositions in Florida workers’ compensation matters and will effectively negotiate settlement opportunities, including reviewing and drafting settlement documents. They will give presentations and trainings to the company and perform legal research as needed. This position can be a hybrid role of three days in office and two days remote.
The position is located in our home office in Sarasota, Florida. However, we will consider candidates in our FCCI office location in Lake Mary, FL.

The salary range for this position is $91,389-$140,739 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
