FCHC Outpatient Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist
Department: FCHC Outpatient Pharmacy
Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Shift: 1st/2nd Shift (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday)
Includes: Rotate opening and closing shifts
Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. The successful candidate will serve as a direct supervisor to technician staff and interns, while performing all duties of prescription processing, consultation, immunization, and other clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill all duties as a licensed pharmacist, including prescription processing and customer consultation.
- Serve as a direct supervisor for pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring a well-organized, efficient workflow.
- Provide immunizations and other clinical services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Manage and organize inventory to ensure accuracy and availability of medications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio.
- Certified immunizing pharmacist.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated commitment to efficiency and high-quality patient care.
