As a Vendor Relations Specialist at FCP Euro, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving key vendor partnerships, securing the best deals, and optimizing supplier performance. You’ll negotiate terms, analyze metrics for cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring agreements to life. You'll also be at the forefront of supplier onboarding, ensuring new agreements align with company goals, while fostering seamless communication across departments. As the go-to person for supplier issues, you’ll resolve discrepancies, manage accounts, and maintain organized vendor records. Plus, you'll contribute to the excitement of trade show preparation and the development of process improvements, ensuring FCP Euro continues to thrive and grow.

Responsibilities

Solve Challenges & Build Strong Partnerships

  • Be the go-to expert for supplier issues, resolving financial and operational discrepancies.
  • Manage NCRs, account reconciliations, invoice/payment disputes, and shipping concerns.
  • Keep vendor communication seamless and maintain an organized contact database.
  • Work with sourcing and catalog teams to onboard new suppliers and align agreements.
  • Identify ways to improve fill rates, secure better pricing, and strengthen vendor relationships.

Negotiate & Secure the Best Deals

  • Develop and execute strategies to secure top-tier terms, discounts, and agreements.
  • Analyze vendor performance to unlock cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to finalize vendor agreements and drive business goals.

Lead Trade Show Success

  • Help prepare for trade shows—coordinate action items, gather data, and craft presentations.
  • Attend events, engage in strategic discussions, and ensure key takeaways turn into results.

Drive Process Improvements & Collaboration

  • Ensure best practices for consistent vendor management and operations.
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance product availability, supply chain efficiency, and vendor performance.
  • Support the team with reports, special projects, and initiatives that fuel company growth.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience with supplier relationship management, where you were responsible for managing the various action items and issues as they relate to your supplier base and collaborating to get these matters resolved.
  • Prior work experience in vendor negotiations, where you were responsible for negotiating payment terms, discounts, and rebates.
  • Background in supply chain, procurement, or related fields, preferably in automotive or e-commerce.
  • Strong ability to resolve financial and operational discrepancies, including account reconciliations and invoice disputes.
  • Experience collaborating across departments to align vendor strategies.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects, including trade shows, vendor onboarding, and process improvements.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to analyze trends and recommend actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
  • Automotive or European vehicle parts industry experience is a plus.
This role will require quarterly travel (Trade shows, Corporate headquarters, etc.)

Compensation

This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $55,000 to $85,000 annually.
