Position Overview

As a Team Leader Supervisor at FCS Facility Services, you will be an integral part of our cleaning team, responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our clients' premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and dedicated to delivering outstanding cleaning results while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

• Staff Supervision and Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate janitorial staff assigned to the site. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that employees perform their duties effectively and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Scheduling and Staffing: Maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and areas of responsibility.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that cleaning services meet company standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections of the site to assess cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues promptly.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for employees and clients. Conduct safety training sessions, perform safety audits, and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on site performance, including cleaning schedules, staffing levels, quality control metrics, and client feedback. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site operations, including employee records, incident reports, and client communications.
• Floor Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing of various types of flooring surfaces, including hardwood, tile, vinyl, and carpet, using appropriate equipment and chemicals.

• Floor Restoration: Assess the condition of floors and execute restoration processes to remove stains, scratches, and other imperfections, ensuring a revitalized and attractive appearance.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules, share best practices, and ensure seamless execution of floor care services.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred.
• Proficiency in operating floor care equipment and knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and supplies.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.
• Be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
