About the Role
As a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist with our practice group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients aged 0-18 years. You will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment and support for our young patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapies and pharmacotherapies as needed
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant medical standards and regulations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a Psychiatry residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Licensure to practice medicine in Alabama
- Board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
