About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Eligible/Board Certified General Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at FCS Inc. in New York State, specifically in St. Lawrence County.
The successful candidate will be working on a 28-bed inpatient unit, with opportunities for additional outpatient work if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care as a General Adult Psychiatrist
- Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills in Geriatric Psychiatry, if interested
- Ensuring expertise in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) or willingness to become qualified
- Cultivating strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- BC/BP General Adult Psychiatry certification or eligibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
- J1 and H1-B visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
