URGENT Locum Need for Addictions Psychiatrist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Addictions Psychiatrist to fill a one-month locum need in our practice located north of Newark. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients struggling with addiction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat adult patients with various forms of addiction, including substance abuse disorders;


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs;


• Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the recovery process;


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care;


• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements:

• Degree in Psychiatry or equivalent experience;


• Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey (or ability to obtain);


• Board certification in Addiction Psychiatry or willingness to become certified within 6 months;


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
