Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in hospitality and fine dining environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage pairings for banquets or special events.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering is preferred; experience in fine dining is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, bartending techniques, and cocktail presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Must possess valid food handling certification as required by local regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
