About The Role
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices; Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.
FDM is seeking a Business Analyst in Irving, TX to work for our client within the financial services sector. This role is initially for 12 months and will be hybrid and you would be expected to be in the Irving, TX office 3 days per week.
About You
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of functional business analysis experience in the financial/banking industry preferably with Wholesale Lending. This work will involve developing a strategic solution using Agile methodologies.
- Experience in one or more of the following business functions: origination, underwriting, credit risk, servicing, finance and risk reporting
- Highly proficient in MS Office, Visio and openness to learn new tools and techniques
- Ability to conduct data analysis using query tools
- Understanding of data management and governance principles
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, this person must be comfortable working independently and collaborating with associates.
- Ability to carry out complex business scenario analysis, develop solutions, and influence decisions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with written and presentation capabilities
