What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Site EHS Manager position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Multi-Site EHS Manager for a large manufacturing client near Chambersburg, PA. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by auditing safety performance, revising safety policies and procedures as needed, and safety training for three seperate facilities.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required
- Strong working knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations, safe operating practices in a business and chemical environment and EHS enforcement of procedures and policies.
- 3-5 years' of EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical manufacturing preferred)
- Multi-site experience preferred
- Strong background and experience in environmental permitting and chemical management
- Working knowledge of Federal/State Regulatory Requirements
- Demonstrated good judgment and strong ethical standards.
- Well-organized and ability to relate to management, line workers, government officials, customers, and visitors.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word and other related programs.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, multi-site and states.
- Experience creating and implementing a safety program.
