What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Manager position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Manager for a large manufacturing client near Buckeye, AZ. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by auditing safety performance, revising safety policies and procedures as needed, and safety training for a single site location.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology or related field required
- A minimum of five years of experience in occupational health and safety within an industrial setting is required
- SMS, GSP, ASP, or CSP credentialing through the BCSP required
- First Aid/CPR/AED or EMR Certification preferred
- OSHA 10/30 Hour General Industry Outreach Trainer preferred
- Special Government Employee (SGE) within VPP program or willing to obtain
