What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee an ongoing construction project in Hartwell, GA. This position will last approximately one month and is expected to operate on a Monday-Thursday dayshift schedule for 40 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 500 Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 5 years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
- Experience with developing and facilitating safety training.
- Experience with confined space and aerial lifts.
