What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a 1-month project in Saint Francisville, LA. This position is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40-50 hours/week on average and will include overseeing a 12-day outage on a 7-12 schedule. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 5 years of safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
