Fencing Supply Group is looking to hire a Territory Sales Representative to drive the sales of the company’s Trex Fencing product line. In the assigned sales territory ( " Mid-Atlantic region "), the representative will build brand awareness and bring new contractors to our supplier network as well as work with our current client base to enhance their portfolio with the nation’s leading premium fencing system. As part of our broad business development program, the representative will also cultivate relationships with professionals and buyers for strategic projects such as architects, landscape designers, property managers, and Home Owner Association boards.
NOTE: This is a commercial sales position for our Trex product category. This is not door-to-door sales.
General Responsibilities
- Expand the brand within the territory. Achieve product sales targets by acquiring new customers, upselling existing customers, and consistently closing deals for Trex Fence products.
- Have a hunger for first contacts. Prospect and lead generation through cold calling, attending networking events, and utilizing various channels to generate Trex Fence leads.
- Expand product utilization with existing contacts. Utilize the Trex Fencing Certified Installer program to drive sales with participating contractors. Connect with all Fencing Supply Group branches to identify go-to contractors and convert them to Trex.
- Cultivate relationships to expand our product and build brand loyalty. Build and maintain relationships by understanding customer needs, providing excellent customer service, and being responsive to inquiries and concerns.
- Respond to HOA and commercial buyer inquiries; liaise opportunities with contractors, perform presentations and/or perform in supporting role.
- Sell the value of this premium building product. Have strong product and service knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate the FSG/Trex Fence value proposition to customers
- Unquestioned integrity and ethics.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in distribution industry, construction products preferred.
- Experience in promoting and upselling solutions to drive customer commitment and loyalty.
- Working knowledge of fence distribution and supply chain is preferred.
