What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at FEAST AT 316?
Feast At 316 in Camas, WA is looking for one prep cook to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 316 Ne Dallas St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and prepare dishes
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
- Maintain clean and organized coolers and follow FIFO
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Ability to step in during lunch rush to help the Chef make salads and plate food
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Prep Cook a plus
