What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Associate position at Feast & Fettle Inc.?
We are looking for a Distribution Associate to deliver our prepared menu items from our East Providence kitchen to our distribution centers across the Northeast. The main duties of this role include operating a 16-foot or 26-foot box truck and maintaining adherence to standard operating procedures for loading and unloading product for the delivery of food to our fulfillment centers.
This is an overnight position. There will be a 2-4 week training period with a schedule of: Sunday-Wednesday 1am-11am. Once fully trained, the schedule will be Saturday-Tuesday 8pm-6am

What will a Distribution Associate do?
The core responsibilities of this position are to deliver product and assist with loading and unloading deliveries of prepared menu items from the Commissary kitchen to Fulfillment Centers across our service area in the Northeast, as well as assembling orders on delivery days.
Confidently and safely operate box truck sized 16 ft and larger for routes across New England
Work directly with the Distribution Supervisors and Operations Managers to ensure processes are followed; approach each day with new ideas for how to make systems work smoothly and efficiently.
Pick & pack products and dry good items according to order specifications
Ensure product is securely stored for transport to delivery locations
Assist with storing goods
Be able to be flexible, covering other routes or roles and responsibilities where needed, help pack and label food, assist on delivery routes, condense and ensure the warehouse is kept clean and in an orderly fashion.
What does a strong applicant for this position have?
At least 21 years of age with a safe driving record
Have or able to obtain DOT Medical Card
Experience operating commercial vehicles; this position requires operating a 26 foot box truck
Care for presentation and quality of product
Consistently meet delivery deadlines and ensure timely arrivals at all destinations
A sense of ownership and pride over your workspace with care
Ability to manage tasks and make decisions with minimal supervision
A rigorous attention to detail, quality, and safety standards

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Multiple times/day
