The Senior Event Specialist is a pivotal role at Feast Your Eyes Catering, responsible for delivering exceptional service and profitability for Feast’s premium catering business. The Senior Event Specialist is an energetic, tech savvy, go-getter responsible for planning, developing, managing and executing a range of events throughout the Philadelphia region. The Senior Event Specialist collaborates across Feast’s teams to deliver meticulously managed events that provide a seamless joyful experience for clients and guests. This full-time position will work in-person out of Feast’s Fishtown headquarters. Minimum remote work may be requested and approval is on a case-by-case basis.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Build a sales portfolio / book from a combination of company leads/inquiries and the successful candidate’s own ground-up efforts.
- Respond to event inquiries for private parties, weddings, corporate events, etc. in a timely manner to secure business.
- Track and follow up on inquiries to ensure maximum booking potential.
- Provide complete proposals and contracts and confirm bookings with clients.
- Schedule and conduct site visits and tours at various venues throughout the region.
- Coordinate with various departments in the planning and execution of the event details to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee and manage booked events through their execution. Attend events as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills, follow-up, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Networking, researching, and being ambitious with a positive attitude are keys to success in this role.

Education & Experience
- 6-8 years of solid off-premise catering sales.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required; experience in lieu of degree.
Requirements
- Able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Able to work in varying elements—indoors and outdoors, uneven walking surfaces/terrain, locations with stairs.
- Able to lift, carry and move materials weighing 35 pounds or more at times.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable access to a vehicle.
Compensation
- Base salary plus commission-based sales compensation.
- Additional rate when working off-premise catered events.
