Position Purpose
Responsible for verification and control of all cash and chips received or disbursed at their station.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Count and verify each container dropped by Slot Department and Table Games.
- Verify cash orders.
- Count, band, and verify cash daily.
- Verify coin distributed with coin cage supervisor.
- Report discrepancies to Drop/Count Manager.
- Maintain a neat, clean and efficient work area.
- Ensure that all Casino and departmental policies and procedures are followed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Education Level – High School Diploma required.
Experience – Accurate, heavy cash handling experience.
Special Skills/Certification – Ten key by touch.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service.
