Job Description
As a Student Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Men's Basketball program by performing various tasks such as:
- Assisting with game management, including setting up the clock and shot clock
- Organizing practices, including setting up equipment and distributing gear
- Handling clerical tasks, such as filing paperwork and preparing mailings
- Providing customer service to students, staff, and visitors
- Assisting with laundry and uniform maintenance
- Operating digital cameras to record games and practices
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at Feather River College during the semester and possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of basketball operations and digital camera use
- Manual dexterity to operate keyboards and manipulate papers
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and carry items weighing up to 50lbs
- Good vision sufficient to read computer screens and handwritten documents
- Speech and hearing sufficient to communicate effectively with individuals
