The Feather River Food Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the prepared foods department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality food products, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing recipes according to production needs established by the Prepared Foods Manager
- Maintaining quality standards for finished products
- Stocking and rotating Grab & Go and all other deli items
- Disposing of unsellable items properly and keeping accurate shrinkage records
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
You will also be required to follow safety and security policies, report potential hazards, and assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- One year of experience in food service
- Knowledge of natural foods and organic standards
- Proven ability to handle multiple demands, work under time pressures, and meet deadlines
