What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Maker position at Featherlite Exiss Sooner Holding Company LLC?
Reports To: Line/Department Supervisor
Status: Non-exempt
Location: El Reno, OK
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for assembling wood cabinets using pre-cut materials following the prints and job specifications which have been provided. All parts of the cabinet are put together using various hand tools. Once the cabinets are assembled, the assembler puts in the shelves, face frames and other items.
Essential Functions:
· Organize parts of cabinet to be assembled
· Following job specifications, assemble cabinets using prints and job specifications
· Assemble custom cabinets from parts
· Assemble custom door units from parts
· Prep material for assembly using exact measurements
· Operate several different saws to cut material
· Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly
· Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality
· Lamination of cabinets

· Additional Duties As Assigned
Skills:
· Must be able to read tape measure
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessary
· Experience with specialized woodworking tools, including staining, and saws.
· Reading and interpreting technical drawing.
· Ability to follow oral and written communication from Supervisor, lead or co-worker
Potential Exposures:
Regular exposure to manufacturing environment including noise, dust, and hot or cold temperatures.
