General Description:
The Canvassing Manager is responsible for leading and managing the canvassing team to generate leads, promote company services, and enhance brand awareness. This role involves developing and implementing canvassing strategies, training and supervising canvassers, and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassers.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the team and monitor performance.
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve the skills and effectiveness of canvassers.
- Develop and implement canvassing strategies to maximize lead generation and brand exposure.
- Identify target neighborhoods and demographics for canvassing efforts.
- Plan and organize canvassing routes and schedules.
- Monitor and track the performance of canvassing campaigns and individual team members.
- Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of canvassing strategies and adjust as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance and outcomes.
- Ensure that canvassers effectively communicate the company’s products, services, and value propositions.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and positive brand image.
- Ensure all canvassing activities comply with local laws and company policies.
- Train canvassers on safety protocols and ensure their adherence.
- Handle any incidents or issues that arise during canvassing operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in canvassing, direct sales, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective canvassing strategies.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
