Pay Rate: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Style/Data Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The position also helps maintain bill of material information among all styles and helps organize certification process in various government agencies. The role encompasses numerous tasks that must be executed accurately.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and Maintain Item Categories: Set up and maintain item categories for base data to create Finished Goods (FG), Fabric, and Trim items in D365.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Product Development (PD), kitting, and Quality Control (QC) teams to accurately set up Finished Goods and Bills of Materials (BoMs). Work with the planning team to create and update new subcontractor-specific BoMs for manufacturing.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation for subcontractor-provided trims. Supply requested information on trims, fabrics, and finished goods/Bills of Materials (BoMs) to various internal departments.
  • BoM Maintenance: Perform and document maintenance for BoMs, including item changes or corrections. Execute and document mass BoM changes, working with IT to develop and maintain a mass update tool that meets company needs.
  • Style Updates: Perform style updates to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, including size additions, color additions, and description updates.
  • Trim Item Setup: Collaborate with kitting, PD, and vendors to set up trim items for sample items and finished goods.
  • Fabric Item Management: Work with purchasing, PD, and vendors to set up and maintain fabric items, including documenting creation/changes outside of D365 for cross-referencing purposes.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with the IT department to develop new processes and provide necessary information for reports.
  • Testing Procedures: Regularly perform actions in a test environment to ensure procedures function correctly in future software updates.
  • Certification process: Assist in preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data entry role with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Individual must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • College or some college preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications or data analytics tools (Microsoft Office, ERP software, reporting tools).
  • Typing accuracy and speed is a plus in this role.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Infrequent standing and walking. Constant sitting.
  • Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
