An ideal candidate for a Site Supervisor should have a high level of proficiency, be great at meeting deadlines, stay on budget, and remain organized throughout the entire project. This person should thoroughly understand “order of operations” for commercial construction, including blueprint reading, scope of work verification, and site logistics. Objectives and Competencies: Typical duties of our Site Supervisor would include the following requirements of the position:
- Maintain job schedules, project specifications, and scopes of work to avoid cost increase and meet project goals.
- Exceed FED’s quality and workmanship expectations.
- Provide our customers and subcontractors with extraordinary service.
- Provide pro-active job site management and positive team leadership and motivation.
- Provide onsite change order management and contract management.
- Complete detailed daily job logs along with supporting onsite project documentation.
- Work directly with the Project Manager to develop schedules and draft weekly updates.
- Develop and maintain look ahead schedules as required.
- Strong knowledge of Procore.
- Exemplary written and verbal skills.
- Responsible for scheduling subcontractors and site inspections.
- Uphold FED’s strong safety model.
- Follow project rules, policies and procedures that FED has established.
- Uphold a professional representation of FED Corporation to subcontractors and clients.
- Demonstrate proficiency and professionalism in their ability to lead and take charge of a project.
- Results driven individual who takes accountability for their success and the success of the project.
- Willingness to adapt to the policies and procedures created by FED Corporation.
Education and Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience, emphasizing leadership management. Proficiency in Procore is required. Employee must have a strong understanding of computers and versed in multiple platforms of construction management software.
Physical Requirements: Travel will be required for this position, and employees must be able sit in a vehicle for an extended period. Employees will be required to walk construction sites that may contain uneven or elevated terrain and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
