Mission Statement:
The mission of the FBI is to protect the American People and uphold the Constitution of the United States.
Major Duties:
- Contribute to and complete analytic projects and modeling from start to finish (project planning, data analysis and manipulation, overall analysis, project management, communication packaging, and presentation of results).
- Interprets and analyzes data collected from a variety of sources using exploratory and statistical techniques. Constructs data visualizations to assist the understanding of analytic results.
- Provides data and technical consultation to other analytic products and models.

Specialized Experience (SE):
GS 13-: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Experience in computer programming and coding using scripting languages such as Python, SPLUNK, Visual Basic, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks.
- Experience in in the development of research designs and methodologies, including statistical sampling and analytic methods, to complete analytic projects.
- Experience in knowledge of modeling real-world problems and applying probability theory and statistical analysis to models and research data.
- Experience in data acquisition, processing, and measurement.
