Mission Statement:

Major Duties:
GS-9:
- Assist the outreach tool team with data validation.
- Ability to educate system users on unit developed tools and operations.
- Ability to document any findings discovered during the data validation/quality control process.
GS-11: In addition to above:
- Lead and direct user training/education on unit developed tool sets.
- Understand the applicability of unit tools and how they address operational user’s needs.
- Assist user’s transferring data into unit developed tool sets.
- Ability to document any new user requirements discovered during the data validation process.
- Orally brief unit management on current events, system level activities and data efforts.

Specialized Experience (SE):
GS-9: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Ability to learn and master the unit’s tool suite of applications.
- Ability to conduct research and orally provide information to unit personnel.
- Ability to communicate in writing.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
GS-11: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Experience educating system users on the unit developed tool suite.
- Experience orally briefing unit management on operational issues.
- Experience composing and preparing system/application requirements.
- Experience and general knowledge of data quality assurance.
Desired Skills
Desired skills are NOT mandatory and will NOT be utilized to minimally qualify applicants.
Desired Skills are:
- Knowledge and proficiency with the use of the Microsoft office suite.
Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
GS-9: Applicant must have a master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
GS-11: Applicant must have a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
