Position Summary
FedData Technology Solutions, LLC (FDTS) is seeking a Junior Warehouse Technician. This entry level position is responsible for maintaining and organizing the storage racks in a warehouse. This position will also fill in for receiving, shipping, and inventory control as assigned. Best-in-class customer service skills are a must for this multifaceted role!
The Junior Warehouse Technician will self-motivate, take pride in their work, and be detailed oriented with demonstrated proficiency in Excel and web-based applications in order to join the FDTS family.
Essential Job Functions
- Locating, identifying, and placing materials on racks.
- Identifying, unracking, counting, sorting, and packaging materials.
- Assist in restocking customer’s inventory and responsible for receiving, shipping, location, and accuracy of inventory.
- Assist in pulling, loading/staging, delivering and unloading all deliveries to the customer.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- There is no security clearance required for this position.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Must have 1 year customer service experience.
- Must have some warehousing experience.
- Must respond to inquiries and maintain clear communication with the customer.
- Must be physically prepared to regularly lift up to fifty pounds, stoop, kneel, crawl and perform repetitive duties.
Pay Scale:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23 p/h - $25 p/h
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
