The Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation Cadre (EHP) announces the hiring of EHP Environmental Compliance Review Specialist (ECSP) position under FEMA's Reservist Program.
This is a 2 year appointment in the Excepted Service. Employment is on an intermittent basis. Key Requirements
•This position requires a Public Trust background investigation.
•You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
•Travel will be required.
•You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
Special Physical Requirements
•Work is performed at a desk, walking, standing, bending, carrying light to medium objects, andin austere conditions.
•Work may take place in undesirable conditions that include exposure to excessive heat, unhealthy environments, and extended hours. Housing accommodations may be limited and require stays in temporary structures without electricity.
Duties
•Collect data on historic preservation considerations related to potential impact; Synthesize information using Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation (EHP)-related computer applications
•Assist in the fulfillment of the Agency’s compliance with a range of federal environmental/historic regulations governing FEMA funded actions
•Assist in conducting pedestrian surveys, site documentation, site descriptions, photography, mapping, and research.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.66 - $20.29 per hour
