What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vendor Risk Advisor position at Federal Express Corporation?
Designs, develops, and implements risk management / compliance programs for third party vendor initiatives with a goal to maximize the protection of financial, operational, information, and reputation assets.
Essential Functions
- Performs vendor due diligence, inherent and residual risk analysis, and risk mitigation techniques (including setting appropriate controls in place), working closely with internal business partners.
- Maintains policies, contracts, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Perform general accounting duties.
- Support more senior staff in risk mitigation initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree / equivalency in business, finance, economics, information technology or related field.
Minimum Experience
Minimum five (5) years work experience in quantitative business problem solving, project management, audit, governance controls, procurement, and / or risk management. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Analytical skills including quantitative business problem solving. Requires knowledge of risk management principles and associated controls. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and oral communication skills.
