What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workday Integration Lead - Solutions Architect position at Federal Express Corporation?
Under limited guidance, work at the business unit level developing the end-to-end solution architecture for significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Expose current state architecture and identifies options for future state architecture.
- Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns.
- Develops plans for and facilitates the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives.
- Participate and engage with the PRT (decomposition & analysis) to understand the Epic request.
- Participate and engage with the Solution / Product Management team to ensure feasibility of the capabilities and features created during the Solution Delivery Assessment phase.
- Lead & create the Solution Context & Solution Intent artifacts as part of the Solution Delivery Decomposition and Analysis phases.
- Provide conceptual and detailed design of data structures for data at rest (databases) and data in motion (API interfaces, messages).
- Be able to communicate with Business and IT leadership / stakeholders on a daily basis using various channels such as phone, emails, chats and presentations.
- Mentor those in less senior positions.
- The Solutions Architect is a key role supporting FedEx Workday Integration Development strategy to connect HR processes with FedEx functional areas. This position will play a vital role in building and supporting integrations between Workday and a wide range of applications and external vendor interfaces.
- The Solutions Architect will partner and engage directly with business partners and Technology teams in planning, crafting, maintaining, and executing solution approaches that are aligned to the roadmaps and architectural principles established by enterprise architecture. This position will enable and support business solutions across Human Capital Management with responsibilities spanning across business enablement, solution design, technical architecture, integrations, conversions, and support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems, business and / or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency : This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay : U.S. Pay Range : $8,007.29 / month- $14,413.11 / month
