About the Role

We are seeking a Federal Account Executive to drive account development and revenue growth for our suite of advanced software, hardware, and services. You will play a key role in identifying and managing opportunities within federal government agencies, working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. This role is confidential to protect sensitive organizational changes or strategic initiatives. However, candidates will receive detailed company information during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with assigned federal agencies, identifying opportunities for new business and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with customers and procurement teams to navigate contract vehicles, pricing strategies, and procurement processes.
  • Respond to and manage RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, building competitive proposals to secure new business.
  • Drive sales through phone, virtual meetings, and in-person engagements with agency representatives.
  • Manage the sales process end-to-end, including building business cases, submitting proposals, and coordinating internal workflows.
  • Use CRM tools to document activities, prepare quotes, process orders, and track sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in direct federal government sales, with a focus on software, hardware, or technical solutions.
  • Experience selling to federal agencies, including Civilian, DoD, or IC, is highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills, including confidence, tact, and business acumen.
  • Ability to learn technical product features quickly and articulate competitive advantages effectively.
  • Proven time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce, or similar platforms)

  • Remote work flexibility is possible, but occasional on-site client meetings are expected.
