Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Resource Efficiency Manager to join our team at Federal IT Consulting. As a REM, you will play a critical role in supporting our military client at Fort Leonard Wood by assisting the installation in achieving a robust energy management program.
About the Job
The REM will be responsible for developing and implementing actions/projects in support of facility maintenance, repair, and construction activities, including providing design review comments, project and program management support, identification of energy savings projects, construction coordination and oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement energy management strategies to optimize utility resource usage
- Provide technical support for facility repair and construction activities
- Assist with project management and oversight
- Identify opportunities for energy savings and water conservation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve energy efficiency goals
Requirements
Candidates must have a strong background in energy management and possess one of the following combinations of education and experience: A four-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management. Alternatively, candidates can have an Environmental Science, business or related degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management. A two-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management is also acceptable. No college degree is required for candidates with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
