We are seeking a Business Development Rep with Business-to-Business sales experience and a proven track record. Industry experience is a plus or industry training is available. The responsibilities of a Business Development Rep include providing excellent customer service, prospecting, closing deals, and processing documentation after the sales process is complete. We are looking for a person to cover areas in the Denver metropolitan area and the Rocky Mountain region.
To be successful as a Business Development Rep, you should show proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Ultimately, a quality Broker should be able to achieve outstanding customer service, while dealing with a high volume of calls and emails. A person that enjoys a fast-paced, yet relaxed and remote work environment would thrive well at this exciting company.
Responsibilities
- The purchase of paper, plastics, and other recyclables from commercial and industry clients
- Increasing program value to your clients through "on-site" visits
- Grow and maintain a list of clients through relationship building
- Networking to attract potential clients
- Negotiating and closing deals with clients
- Financial responsibility of material volume and margins by analyzing data and market trends
- Processing sales transactions
- Developing strategic annual and monthly forecasts
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of the company's products or services
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
Competencies
- Self-motivating with a strong attention to detail and organization
- Prior business development experience strongly preferred
- Strong background in negotiations and vendor management
- Ability to establish and foster relationships with key contacts
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel and Word experience
- Experience in the HubSpot or other CRM systems preferred
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills (group and individual)
- Fosters a positive work environment through a great attitude, effective communication and flexibility
- Excellent time management, prioritization of tasks and multi-tasking skills
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business development experience
- A minimum of 2 years of business development as a buyer or sales role within an industrial sector
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
