We are a dynamic hybrid workplace environment that requires at least 2 days a week in the office. Provides oversight and direction to Systems Administration unit responsible for providing ongoing support of the District’s server environment.
Coordinates the activities, roles and responsibilities of multi-member project teams or groups.
Directs Systems Administration performance and capacity monitoring and tuning.
Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.
Maintains policies, procedures, and standards.
Participates in strategic planning and on District-wide work groups. Key Responsibilities :
- Manages staff within the Systems Administration unit.
Develops subordinates and insures that employee training and development activities are effective.
Recommends staffing needs, hiring, training, salaries, personnel actions, and administers disciplinary actions.
Appraises, counsels, and provides guidance to subordinates.
Develops and controls operating and capital budgets, monitors expenditures and explains budget variances.
Assists with long range planning and budgeting for the department and projects.
Oversees the installation, maintenance and operations of hardware and software including middle-ware products.
Supervises the installation, maintenance, and technical analysis of Bank centralized servers; including the infrastructure and web related activities.
Oversees the installation, maintenance and operations of hardware and software including Middleware and Database, products both on-prem and in the cloud.
Supervises DevSecOps and Quality Assurance support model focusing on identifying / implementing / leading improvements that will significantly improve time to market for our automation orchestration platform.
Ensure users receive effective assistance for problem resolution and technical support.
Analyzes and evaluates systems including hardware and software products to meet needs of users.
Prepares and / or directs preparation of project plans and reports, letters and memoranda, standards and other documentation.
Assists with development of District's automation strategic plan.
Develops and maintains system documentation, operations procedures, contingency plans, and District standards and guidelines for enterprise-wide environment.
