Vactor is currently seeking an Intern in our Technical Writing department (English majors welcome to apply) for the summer of 2025. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while applying what you have learned in school. These internships typically run from May through August.
Position Requirements :
- College student, preferably in junior or senior year of college pursuing a Technical Writing Degree or an English Degree.
- Converting documentation into DITA format using Oxygen software.
- Collecting pictures for the manual and editing them as needed.
- Documenting process instructions for various tasks within the department.
- Proofreading and editing of various written documents.
- Also learn the basic operation of the big printing press.
Salary Range for this position : $17-$19 per hour
