What are the responsibilities and job description for the ISO Document/Audit Coordinator position at Federal Signal?
The ISO Document/Audit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and exercising functional authority for planning, organizing, and executing all written records necessary for University Park to maintain and update its ISO Certification.
The ISO Document/Audit Coordinator assists University Park Quality Assurance and Agency Engineer personnel in all activities related to the development and maintenance of systems, procedures, and work instructions that are related to achieving and retraining ISO Certification, ATEX Certification, UL and misc. agencies. The ISO Document/Audit Coordinator is responsible for ISO audit planning, training and implementation. The ISO Document/Audit Coordinator coordinates all audit activities which include the scheduling of internal and work cell audits within the University Park facility.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
- Managing RMA (return authorization material) Request in a timely manner as RMA’s are usually only valid for 30-60 days and keeps the nonconforming inventory down to a manageable level.
- Coordinate the return of returning defective materials to suppliers.
- Coordinating Internal and external audits to ensure Federal Signal University Park location maintains is ISO 9001:2015 certification status.
- Manage and maintain internal employee training records.
- Manage and maintain document management system for our high-level procedures and work instructions.
- Run small weekly focus group meetings to ensure Customer Complaints are investigated, assigned, and closed.
- Generate or create certificates of conformance (COC)/Material Test Certificates when requested by Customer Support, Shipping or a Quality Inspector.
- Complete Supplier Questionnaires regarding the Quality Management System
Skills/Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree or 5 years’ experience in a Quality Support / Administrative support role
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SmartSheet
- Knowledge of or participation in ISO Process a plus
- JDE Software knowledge a plus
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Salary Range: $54,454 - $77,792
