What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk/Material Mover position at Federal Signal?
- Schedule UPS and LTL Shipments
- Kit and ship customer orders
- Receive purchase orders and update in Syteline
- Make cartons
- Unload trucks for LTL's and update in Syteline
- Kit product for full and partial customer pickup loads
- Alert Supply Chain Supervisor of any stock-out or potential stock-out
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by rotating stock and performing cycle counts
- Ability to pass forklift training and certification.
- Ability to read, write legibly, count and perform basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills including ability to work within an ERP system. Prior experience using Syteline preferred.
- Ability to manually lift up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Using the overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
Additional Job Information:
- Wage Expectations: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
- Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
- Location: On Site – 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal MN 56055
- Travel: Very minimal to none
