We are looking for a VoIP & Unified Communications Specialist to work in Scott AFB, IL supporting our client.
Clearance : Secret
Salary : $66,000
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in two or more of the following : TDM telephone switches, VoIP, Call Manager, VTC systems
- Competency in two or more of the following devices / vendors : CISCO, Juniper, Nortel, ACME Packet, Oracle, Palo Alto, Session Boarder Controllers (SBC), H.323 endpoints.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting, configuration, and restoration of services across multiple platforms.
- General understanding of IP and transport network topologies.
- High School Diploma and 2-4 yrs of relevant technical experience.
- Must hold Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security CE, or equivalent) prior to start date.
- Ability to participate in a 24 / 7 shift work environment, to include working nights and weekends.
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
