- 2 days of all staff training/planning prior to start of program (June 23rd-24th)
- 16 teaching days at June 30th – July 24nd (Mon – Thurs) Daily Schedule: 8:15 am – 12:15pm

- Courses include ELA, Math, Academic Language Academy, Online courses for Credit, Music, Gardening, Athletics, Culinary, STEM and Fine Arts
- Summer School Staff Schedule:

- 16 teaching days at June 30th – July 24nd (Mon – Thurs) Daily Schedule: 8:15am-9:15am planning and 9:15-1:15 Instruction with scholars (3 periods)

- Support successful experience for all staff
- Support families and make parent/guardian contacts as needed
- Manage attendance, discipline prevention/intervention and data collection
- Knowledge of working with learning challenged students – variety of research-based strategies
- Keep students engaged – making student-centered decisions
- Maintain a safe and positive school climate and learning environment for students and staff
- Elementary and Middle School teachers may be working with a Teach For America Cohort trainee. This mentorship role will involve collaborative planning
- Reporting of attendance and progress monitoring
- Ability to problem-solve, mediate conflict and resolve situations in a positive manner
- Understand and provide support for integrating technology into the learning
Educators help students learn skills and develop attitude and appreciations which will lead them toward the fulfillment of the District's goals of education.
