Essential duties include product delivery, vehicle operation, tank management, repairs, and sales assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading propane into bulk trucks and delivering it to customers' storage tanks according to company policies and procedures.
- Operating vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to D.O.T. regulations, company policies, and local laws.
- Performing tank setting, leak testing, and management for LP gas systems as required by NFPA codes and regulations.
- Assisting the sales department with calls and identifying potential sales areas.
- Maintaining and painting LP gas tanks at company and customer locations.
- Inspecting and maintaining bulk facilities, trucks, and equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper operation.
- Documenting work according to company policies.
- Working on-call weeknights and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in propane delivery and CDL operations is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- An active CDL with endorsements is highly desirable.
- The ability to obtain a Class B CDL License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements is necessary.
- The employee must be able to regularly lift and move objects weighing over 50 pounds.
