Description
Federated Co-ops Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Equipment Technician to work out of our Princeton Country Store location. As a Retail Sales Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for supporting customers at the front counter, set up, and provide routine maintenance and basic service by performing the following duties. This position will work core business hours and rotating weekend shift when needed.
Responsibilities of the Retail Sales Equipment Technician include the following:
Customer Support: Support customers at the front counter, answer questions, ring up and order products as needed.
Power Equipment Set up: Receive and set-up new power equipment.
Power Equipment Maintenance: Perform Light Duty Small Engine maintenance on riding and walk-behind mowers, snowblowers, utility vehicles, and other power equipment.
Product knowledge and support: Answer questions and promote Country Store products and offerings including feed and companion animal products.
Product pick-up and delivery: Unload, load, deliver and stock products at work and customer sites as needed.
Store and location support: Maintain store location and stock to ensure a positive well-ordered store appearance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous Retail experience is preferred.
- Previous Power Equipment set up and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of feed and companion animal product is preferred.
- Qualified candidates will possess a valid Driver's license and the ability to operate a company motor vehicle.
- Ability to operate forklift and maintain ongoing certification.
- Ability to work as a part of the weekend rotation is required.
- All other duties assigned by Management.
- Ability to move and/or lift 50 lbs frequently and load/unload customer products at work and customer locations.

The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
